Hi there, thank you for landing on my page. I know that it can take courage to step out
and ask for help when you’re experiencing different struggles in life. I would be honored
to take the opportunity to hear your story and help you navigate areas you are
struggling in. I want to partner with you and help you create tools you can use
throughout your journey. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is based on
mutual respect. My approach to therapy focuses on a person-centered view with a wide
range of approaches to best serve each person.
I received my Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint
Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2015. For the past 12 years I have been working full
time in healthcare and I’m looking forward to using that experience as I complete my
counseling licensure.
I acknowledge that counseling can be an uncomfortable process that often involves
exploration into potentially painful emotions. It is my goal to help you through this
journey in a safe, empathetic, judgement-free, and accepting space.

Taylor Marie MS, LPCC
Welcome! I am so happy you're here. My name is Taylor Marie and I am an experienced therapist from New York. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and specialize in trauma-informed, person-centered care, integrating CBT, DBT, spiritual counseling, and existential approaches. I seek to help those feeling lost in life and those who are going through hard times. My passion lies in supporting clients through trauma recovery, particularly those healing from or leaving abusive relationships and individuals experiencing religious trauma.
I approach therapy from an existential perspective, helping clients find meaning and reclaim their sense of power during or after traumatic experiences. I believe that discovering purpose is essential to healing and personal growth. I have experience working with individuals, groups, teens, and adults, treating issues such as trauma, depression, anxiety, and feelings of being lost.
My therapeutic style is non-judgmental and centered on creating a safe, supportive space where clients can feel seen, heard, and valued. I deeply enjoy learning about my clients’ stories and strive to model respectful, empowering relationships. My special focus is on spiritual and existential counseling, with a niche in using personality assessments to foster self-awareness and self-compassion. Through my graduate thesis research, I discovered that personality-informed therapy enhances self-awareness, which in turn cultivates greater self-compassion.
I am dedicated to being a strong advocate for my clients and ensuring they feel supported throughout their healing journey. I believe that everyone has a right to resources that will advocate for them through their toughest times. Working collaboratively, I can help you navigate challenges, cope with symptoms, find meaning, and regain a sense of purpose and motivation.
